Hailing from upstate New York and formed in 2002, The Wasted are a rock band with a knack for songwriting that dwells on the darker side of humanity. Their music has been characterized as paranoid, misanthropic and was once labeled ‘crank-rock’. The band includes Stephen Gaylord (formerly of Beef) on guitar and vocals, Paul Hill (formerly of Struction) on drums, and Kelly Murphy (formerly of Kate Mosstica) on bass and backing vocals. The Wasted have shared the stage with artists such as Vetiver, Kid Congo and Pattern is Movement. We Are Already In Hell, the band’s new full-length CD, will be out January 30th of 2007 on Hoex Records.
